Generator
A generator is used in nuclear medicine to provide a radioisotope used for a scintigraphic procedure. A generator contains a radionuclide (e.g. molybdenum) that decays to another radionuclide (decay product, e.g. technetium) that can be extracted and used. The original radionuclide is firmly bound in the generator and remains behind.

Granulocyte Scintigraphy
Granulocyte scintigraphy is a medical imaging test to visualize infections and inflammatory processes. The used monoclonal granulocyte antibodies are radioactive marked with for example 99mTc, 67Ga-citrate or with 111In-oxine.

Gray
(Gy) Gray is the SI unit of absorbed radiation dose. 1 Gray is equal to the energy absorption of 1 Joule per kilogram. The absorbed dose due to any type of radiation is measured in Gray. 1 Gray is equal to 100 rads in the older terminology.
