Display Matrix
The display matrix is the matrix in the displayed image and can be equal to or larger than the reconstruction matrix size due to interpolation procedures. This array of rows and columns of pixels is typically between 512 x 512 and 1024 x 1024.
Display Field of View
(DFOV / RFOV) The display field of view is a selectable scan factor measured from the center of the patient to the most distant located edge of the patient.
Brightness
The brightness is the balance of light and dark shades in a displayed image. High brightness (also called density or intensity) settings produce bright images and low settings produce dark images. The contrast determines how many gray levels are displayed and the density determines the intensity.
Cine Mode
The cine mode is a series of rapidly recorded multiple images taken at sequential cycles of time and displayed on a monitor in a dynamic movie display format.
