Dose Limit
The dose limit is the highest value of an applied or allowed radiation exposure. The radiation dose is limited in order to prevent the occurrence of radiation-induced deterministic effects or to limit the probability of radiation-related stochastic effects to an acceptable level.

Electric Field Strength
(E) The electric field strength is used to represent the forces between electric charges. Electric field strength is defined as the force per unit charge on an infinitesimally small charge at any given point in space. The unit of electric field strength is volt per meter (V/m).
Electric Flux Density
(D) The electric flux density is a vector equal to the product of the electric field strength and the permittivity. The unit is coulomb per square meter (C/m2). The total electric flux passing through a closed surface is equal to the total charge enclosed by the surface.
Eye Dose Equivalent
The eye dose equivalent is the radiation dose of the lens of the eye taken by external exposure. The dose equivalent is calculated at a tissue depth of 0.3 centimeters (300 mg/cm2).
Field of View
(FOV) The field of view is the maximum diameter of the area of the scanned object that is represented in the reconstructed image. It can also be the surface of the used detector.
